Election Fatigue

This is one of the tougher chats we’ve had, but because I want our time here to be impactful AND move in integrity, it’s a must.

Yes friend, in this chat we’re talking about who I’m voting for president.

Whether this is the first chat you’ve listened to or you’ve been around since season 1, thanks for being here friend! Binge the show to hear our other chats and find my New York Times Bestselling memoir, Nothing Is Missing, on Amazon or at your favorite bookstore!

At the end of the day, I hope that we’re able to show love, compassion, grace, and respect towards each other because we’re so much more than a single political issue and so much more than our politics.

Hit play friend and let’s chat!

Mind YOUR OWN Business

Mind YOUR OWN Business

In previous chats, we’ve talked about the expectation and pressure that exists to support our parents (especially for those of us who are first generation!) We were raised to stand in the gap of everyone else’s mess, even before building something of our own.

The impulse to help everyone else before we help ourselves can burn us out QUICK and when you burn yourself out, you can’t help anyone.

Friend, there is no return on investment when you are training people to use YOU as the resource.

Don’t miss this chat! Hit play so I can share a little bit of hard-earned wisdom with you.

I wish I could say that this is one of those chats where I have the answers, but the reality is it just isn’t. I’m struggling with this and if you have any answers or can relate, DM me. I receive it, friend!

I’m heading to Atlanta for a business dinner soon and it’s bringing up feelings of grief and reminders of my former life. It’s like when the babies head to college and you go into their room and wish they were still there even though you know it’s right that they aren’t.

If there is anything I’m learning it’s that the future doesn’t look like what you think it’s going to look like. The future is always better but maybe in a way that is different than you expected.

Wherever you’re at right now, this isn’t the end. The journey is still continuing and God has incredible plans for you.

Hit play and then DM me over on IG @NicoleWalters.

Submit to your Husband?!

Submit to your Husband?!

Submit to your Husband?!

Is it a privilege to be able to submit to your partner?

At one point I thought submission was the problem, I mean just reading that word my make you want to run in the other direction.

I get it and that’s why this chat is spicy and necessary.

The fact is some of you may just not get this but those of you that do, GET IT.

When you trust and respect your partner so much that you can submit to them it’s a gift. And that’s what I’m trying to teach my girls who are all at different places in dating.

Friend, if you’re shaking your head yes and need more understanding on what submission can look like in a healthy (but imperfect) relationship, grab a seat and let’s chat.

Friend, I was nervous to hit record on this one because I’m telling on myself again.

In this chat we have expert Corrine Stokoe here to chat about co-dependency and how it can sneak into every aspect of our lives.

Is it really that big of a problem? You may be surprised to hear how co-dependency shows up (and gets in your way!)

The information Corrine shares can change your life and empower you to change the lives of others. Don’t miss this chat!

Is putting down our businesses the right choice when we’re entering motherhood?

You probably heard this too if you’ve been through the baby season – “Get ready to put it all down for the next few years so you can focus on your family.”

Y’all know my babies always come number 1 but the idea of setting it all down just hits different when you’re an older mom.

In this chat we get to hear from Candace Mitchell Harris, CEO of MYAVANA. Candace has built a hair tech company from the ground up through seasons of being single to getting married and having twins.

I’m so grateful Candace is here to share with us how she integrated motherhood into her life as a CEO.

Don’t miss this chat, friend! Thanks so much for being on this journey with me. I’ve loved getting all your tips and encouragement in the DMs!
